InformationThere is no freedom of information in North Korea. All media is state-controlled, so citizens have no access to information not approved by the government. Citizens are shown propaganda produced by the government, and children are taught to always be obedient and jingoistic.
ExecutionsPublic executions are common, and someone can be executed even for non-violent crimes. The death penalty can be assigned if authorities believe the crime is "extremely serious."
